Becoming a member of the Music City Drum Corps will forever change your life. You will spend a summer working harder than you ever imagined, pushing beyond your limits, all in pursuit of a dream.
Music City is for you if you…
Age
You are between the ages of 16 to 21.
Location
Members of Music City come from all around the country. Based in Nashville, TN, you will travel the U.S. performing for audiences near and far.
Instrument
The drum corps consists of brass, percussion and color guard. With a blend of staging and dance you will take your instrument on the move.
Experience Level
No drum corps experience is necessary. Training in music, dance and pageantry arts is preferred.

About Music City
Music City Drum and Bugle Corps is the marching music education program of Music City Youth in the Arts from Nashville, Tennessee.
Membership consists of high school and college students ages 16-21. Every year approximately 500 young people audition for a position in the corps. A four-week training camp is held prior to embarking on a tour that culminates at the Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships in Indianapolis. DCI hosts the summer tours of Music City and approximately 50 other drum corps nationwide.
Our experience provides an opportunity to hone your talent while receiving instruction of the highest caliber. The intense rehearsal and performance schedule provides the experience of learning valuable life lessons such as responsibility, teamwork and respecting others. Alumni consistently share how Music City is a supportive community that enables you to positively impact corps members and fans.
