Music City Youth in the Arts Receives Grant from Metro Arts to Support 2025 Season

Nashville, April 21, 2025 — Music City Youth in the Arts is proud to announce it has been awarded a generous grant from Metro Arts, the Nashville Office of Arts + Culture. This meaningful investment comes at a pivotal time for the organization as it prepares for an exciting 2025 season and continues its mission to inspire and engage through the performing arts.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Metro Arts for this support,” said Mike Webb, Executive Director of Music City Youth in the Arts. “This grant is more than just financial assistance — it’s a recognition of the value of our work and its impact on the Nashville community and beyond.”

The awarded funds will be used to help offset operational costs for the organization, including expenses related to facilities, staffing, transportation, and essential program administration. This critical support will directly benefit Music City Drum Corps, the organization’s nationally recognized performance ensemble, by ensuring the infrastructure is in place to support a successful 2025 season. “This grant helps make that possible,” Webb added.

Music City Youth in the Arts extends its sincere thanks to Metro Arts for investing in the future of performing arts in Nashville and encourages the public to continue supporting local, regional, and national arts programs.
