Clayton Carter

Percussion Staff - Basses

Clayton Carter graduated from Missouri State University, where he earned his degree in Music Education. There, he was a member of the Missouri State Pride Band and taught the drumline as a member of Junior Staff. After receiving his degree in Music Education, Clayton continued his education at the University of Missouri, where he studied with Dr. Megan Arns to receive his Master’s Degree in Music Performance. At the University of Missouri, Clayton was the Assistant Director of Mizzou Drumline.

Clayton was a member of Gateway Indoor (2015-2017) and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2016-2017). He has taught as a freelance educator for Kickapoo High School, Rock Bridge High School, and Missouri State University. Clayton currently resides in Willard, Missouri where he serves as the Percussion Specialist and Assistant Director for Willard Bands.
