David von Behren

From South Saint Paul, Minnesota, David von Behren has had multiple successes as a performer & educator in a number of marching circuits around the country. As a performer, his experience includes:Pioneer Drum & Bugle Corps, The Magic Drum & Bugle Corps, Madison Scouts, Minnesota Brass, Pioneer Indoor Drumline, Freelancers Indoor Drumline, and Music City Mystique.

Since aging out, David has had the privilege of serving as a staff member with a number of award-winning ensembles, including Chino Hills HS (CA), Minnesota Brass, Spirit Drum & Bugle Corps, Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps, and Pulse & POW Percussion.

David has been a Cymbal Instructor/Visual Designer/Drill Designer as well as a clinician and consultant throughout his teaching experience.  As a Cymbal Instructor.  His accomplishments are a combined 11 State Championships, 3 WGI National Championships, 1 DCA Open Class Championship and 1 DCA I&E Gold Medal.  Today, David is a Patient Care Coordinator for AEG Vision Company in the Chicagoland area.
