Izzie Holland
Front Ensemble Staff
Izzie Holland is a current resident of Las Vegas, NV. She is currently pursuing a MM at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Previously, she worked as the Assistant Percussion Director at Arlington High School, Bailey Junior High, and Gunn Junior High with Head Percussion Director Brian Lowe. She has BME from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has had the privilege to study with Dr. Andrew Eldridge, Chris Nadeau, Dr. Joe Moore, Dr. Dean Gronemeier, and Dr. Kyle Bissantz.
Currently she is involved with teaching the front ensemble at Clark High School in Las Vegas, NV. She also performs on the Vegas Golden Knights drumline with the Drumbots.
She has been a member of the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) since 2019. Since 2021, she has been a delegate of the outreach committee for the PAS University Student Committee. Starting in 2024, she will be the head of the outreach committee within the PAS University Student Committee.
She has had the privilege to perform with multiple front ensembles in Drum Corps International (DCI) and Winter Guard International (WGI). Her DCI marching career includes Music City (2019), Mandarins (2021) and Bluecoats (2022). She proudly helped the Bluecoats win the Fred Sanford High Percussion Award in 2022. Her WGI marching career includes Vigilantes Indoor Percussion (2019-2020) and Monarch Independent (2022-2023). Izzie has had the privilege to be taught from marching percussion instructors Tom Rarick, Allen Justus, Dr. Ryan Kilgore, Claire Kenney, Emily Magee and Andy Filipiak. She has held a position at Music City Drum and Bugle Corps as a front ensemble instructor since the summer of 2023.
