Jason Palmer

Visual Designer, Drill Writer

Jason Palmer has been involved in the creation and instruction of the pageantry arts for over 20 years. He has been a successful music designer, drill writer, and body movement choreographer for many successful scholastic and independent programs. This includes drum corps such as the Madison Scouts 04-06, Colts visual Caption head 07, Glassmen visual caption head 09-11, Cavaliers choreographer/designer 08-18, the Spirit of Atlanta drill designer 16-19.

Most notably, Jason has been the drill designer for the Commandant's Own Marine Drum Corps percussion section for WGI 2015-present and the Commandant's Own Marine Corps field show 2019 to present. Jason has worked with many indoor programs, including designing for Gateway indoor, Cavaliers indoor, Music City Mystique, Father Ryan, and Choctawhatchee. He is currently the percussion director and visual arts teacher at Mt. Juliet High School, where he lives with his wife Tara.
