Kayleigh Hind
Guard Staff
Kayleigh Hind’s involvement in the performing arts started when she took her first dance class at the age of 3, and her color guard career began with Carmel High School (2005-2007) and New Hartford High School (2007-2009). She then went on to perform with The Empire Statesmen Drum and Bugle Corps (2008-2009), Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps (2010-2012), Zydeco Winter Guard (2014), Pride of Cincinnati Winter Guard (2015), and Juxtaposition Winter Guard (2017). She has also performed with Cornell’s Rise Dance Group (2011-2013) and Columbus Modern Dance Company (2013-2016).
As an educator, Kayleigh is currently the Director of the Thomas Worthington HS Color Guard, Choreographer for the Heath HS Color Guard, and Choreographer/Movement Coordinator for Cap City Percussion. She has also worked with Juxtaposition Winter Guard, Pickerington North HS Color Guard, and New Hartford HS Color Guard. This will be her first season on staff with Music City.
Outside of the marching arts, Kayleigh holds a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research & Information Engineering with a minor in Dance from Cornell University and works in corporate retail. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her fiance, Tim, and their pets, Ranger and Remo.
