Kelly Laws

Guard Staff

Kelly Laws is currently a color guard technician based in the east Tennessee area. She has been working with Hardin Valley Academy High School's color guard program for the last 3 years, where she serves primarily as a dance and flag technician. She is also working with Beau Monde Independent Winterguard, a new IA group in the area, for the upcoming winter season. Previously, Kelly served as the director of West Clermont High School's color guard program in Cincinnati for three years.

Kelly's marching experience includes Music City Drum and Bugle Corps (16', 17'), Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps (18', 19'), Bluecoats Indoor Winterguard (18', 19'), the Pride of Cincinnati Dance Ensemble (20'), and Lexis Winterguard (22').

Kelly is currently a resident of Knoxville, TN, where she serves as a Team Lead at a behavioral health agency. Kelly holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Northern Kentucky University and minored in dance during her time there. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee.

Kelly loved her time marching at Music City and is very excited to be returning for another season on staff!
