Executive Director, Music City Youth in the Arts

Mike Webb chose a business career path coming out of Ball State University, but never lost his appreciation for the pageantry arts and the life changing impact of drum corps. Having seen his first drum corps show in the early 80’s, he always said “I’ll do that someday”. After marching all through high school and at Ball State University, he would go on to march soprano bugle for the Madison Scouts in 1984 learning firsthand the values of teamwork, dedication and leadership.

His diverse professional career spanned almost 30 years in the automotive business between General Motors and Nissan North America serving in leadership roles of increasing responsibilities across various functions including Finance, Production, Project Management and Human Resources. Mike also spent 5 years with LifeWay Christian Stores in a Program Management role focused on implementing process re-engineering projects and software implementations. Mike served on the Music City Youth in the Arts, Inc.’s board of directors for many years, including holding the roles of President and Treasurer. More recently he stepped into his current role as Operations Director, which encompasses the organization’s finances, fundraising and administration.

He and his wife Becki live in Franklin, TN and have three children, Kelsi, Dylan and Mackenzie. During his time away, Mike enjoys pickleball, golf and being with family / friends.
