Nate Morris

Design Consultant

Nate Morris joins Music City as a design consultant after decades of involvement in the drum corps activity as both a performer and educator. He currently serves as the 8th Commanding Officer and Artistic Director for "The Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps. Morris has performed across the U.S. and around the globe, including tours in Europe, the South Pacific, and Japan.

He has appeared before Presidents, Heads of State, and countless audiences, with notable performances for Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama during the Evening Parades at Marine Barracks, as well as two joint performances with the New York Philharmonic.

Morris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Middle Tennessee State University and is a graduate of The Basic School in Quantico, VA.
