Tyler Boyle
Audio Engineer
Tyler Boyle is a native of Carrollton, GA, and has been a member of the Music City Audio Team since 2022. As an active percussion clinician, arranger, sound designer, and audio consultant, he has provided his services for schools in the metro Atlanta area for nearly a decade.
As an educator, Tyler currently serves as the Percussion Coordinator for the middle school division of West Georgia Winds. This nonprofit honor band serves the West Georgia area and provides students with the opportunity to collaborate not only with students from other schools but also with professional musicians and composers from around the country. Students also have the opportunity to perform new and challenging music that they may not otherwise have the chance to experience. Tyler also serves as a percussion instructor, front ensemble coordinator, and sound designer for Carrollton High School.
As a recording engineer with Soundmill Recording, Tyler has had the opportunity to work with numerous scholastic and collegiate bands, choirs, and orchestras, providing recording services for many major festivals including the Southeastern Regional Concert Festival at Georgia State University and the Southeastern Percussion Ensemble Symposium at Walton High School.
As an arranger and sound designer, Tyler has provided percussion arranging and sound design for many scholastic marching bands, as well as production and sound design for numerous scholastic and independent WGI groups, including EPIC Winter Guard.
Tyler holds Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Education and Music Composition from the University of West Georgia, and he is slated to begin the Music Technology graduate program with an emphasis in Studio Recording at Southern Utah University in the spring of 2024.
