Chaz Bledsoe named Music City Corps Director

Music City Drum Corps announces Chaz Bledsoe as corps director. Chaz has been affiliated with the organization for the last three years, most recently serving as the Vice President of Music City Youth in the Arts' Board of Directors. He chaired the Internal Affairs Committee and served on the Executive Committee, Governance Committee, and Development Committee.

"I am thrilled to see my good friend step into the role of Director and lead Music City forward. Chaz has a deep understanding of the organization and will help create a bold and fresh Music City.” stated Joe Roach, outgoing director.

Chaz Bledsoe has been involved in music education and the pageantry arts for more than 10 years, and currently teaches the front ensemble at Mt. Juliet High School in Mt. Juliet, TN. Chaz also serves as a Contest Administrator for the Southeastern Color Guard Circuit (SCGC) during the winter season.

During his time with Music City, Chaz has been an asset. He was elected as a voting member of Music City Youth in the Arts Board of Directors and rose to serve in the capacity of Vice President, bringing his professionalism and experience to the Board. Chaz spent time on the road with the corps during the 2021 and 2022 summer tours as part of the admin staff.

Chaz is a graduate of Bethel University where he earned his degree in Organizational Leadership and is an HR Professional spending time in his career with a leading North American footwear company and currently with a leading Global manufacturing company. Chaz resides in Mt. Juliet, TN with his wife, Sandi, and three dogs.
