2021 Drum Corps Auditions
After a full year away from the field Music City Youth in the Arts is proud to announce the return of Music City Drum Corps!
The 2021 summer drum corps experience will begin with the 2021 Virtual Audition Experience. This offering will be the first step in forming this summers’ performing ensemble. Beginning in March we will open registration for the audition experience that will include several education opportunities as well as the formal audition process for the drum corps.
While we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic Music City has made the decision to begin the audition process in a virtual and video setting. This first round of auditioning will require each auditionee to submit a video for review by the Music City staff. In addition to a video review each auditionee will receive exclusive content, a scheduled 1 on 1 lesson with our staff as well as an invitation to our April Virtual camp.
We are beyond excited to get our membership engaged again in this life changing activity. I think we can all see that drum corps will look different in 2021 and it is our goal to have an incredible and safe experience for all those involved said Joe Roach, Executive Director.
