Alexander Almeida

Front Ensemble Staff

2024 will be Alex Almeida’s first season teaching at MCDC, previously he has taught at Southwind DBC (2023) and at Audio Theater(2024-25) as well as high schools in the Nashville Area.

The start of Alex’s marching band experience was in Fort Worth, TX, as a member of the Fossil Ridge Front Ensemble (2014). Alex’s Drum Corps career started at Music City Drum Corps (2019) and ended with The Colts (2023), both on marimba. For his indoor seasons, Alex performed with Resistance Indoor Percussion (2019-2022) on bass drum and aged out as the center vibraphone for Music City Mystique (2023).

Alex obtained an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Arkansas and currently resides in Nashville TN where he enjoys hiking and making art.
