Angel Soto

Front Ensemble Staff

Angel Soto is currently a senior percussionist at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. He is majoring in Instrumental Music Education and has had the opportunity to student-teach under a variety of great music teachers in the area such as Mr. David Aydelott and Mr. Mark Hale.

Angel was a member of the front ensemble at The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 2021-2022. There, he studied under Randy Sifuentes, Lee Allman, Shelby Shelton, Rick Drewry and Lane Summerlin - all educators for whom Angel holds great admiration and esteem for.

As a percussionist, Angel has had the honor of being taught by some of the best teachers in the field such as Russell Wharton, Julie Davila, Lalo Davila and Dr. Brian Mueller. He credits them and his primary and secondary school percussion directors Brian Sexton and Eduardo Trevino for his career accomplishments.
