Dominic Zanaboni

Dominic Zanaboni graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance in 2015 with a Bachelors in Music Education. Since graduating, Zanaboni has been the Director of Bands for the Spokane School District in southwest Missouri from 2015 to 2018. He currently serves as the Director of Bands for the Camdenton School District. In Camdenton MO. He oversees all curricular aspects of the program and conducts the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. He is responsible for the widely recognized Pride of The Lake Marching Band, teaches the beginner high brass class, and assists with the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and 8th Grade Band.

Zanaboni has been involved with Drum Corps International since 2008 as both a member and instructor. He was a member of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps from 2008 to 2010 and Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps 2012 and 2013. He was a member of the Phantom Regiment instructional staff 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018 as a visual instructor and a member of Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps instructional staff as a brass instructor in 2016. In 2020 Zanaboni was awarded the Outstanding Young Music Educator for the state of Missouri. Zanaboni regularly provides his expertise in the marching arts and serves as a clinician for several groups throughout Missouri as well as a drill designer for several other Missouri band programs. He is an avid runner and periodically adjudicates marching band and concert festivals from time to time. He is happily married to the love of his life, Lauren Zanaboni, and they enjoy watching a movie with their two cats Mojo and Percy.
