Emily McCorvey
Movement Technician
Emily McCorvey was born and raised in Franklin, TN. They have an extensive dance background including ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, and modern. They have been involved with the marching arts since 2015, performing on mellophone. As a performer, they did five years at Independence High School (‘15- ‘19), two years at Middle Tennessee State University (‘20&’22), two years at Music City Drum Corps (‘22- ‘23), and one year at Mandarins Drum Corps (‘24). They also have spent two years with Rhythm X’s Visual Ensemble (‘24- ‘25).
Emily has taught several years of dance and high school marching band programs. Right now, Emily spends the majority of their time at Fairview High School as visual caption head, and Ravenwood High School as a tech. They spend a lot of time writing choreography, designing, teaching, and dancing. Emily graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Commercial Songwriting and a minor in music. Most of their hobbies include writing music, singing, dancing, and performing for many crowds. Emily is super excited for this year, and can’t wait to get together this season!
