Maggie Meyer

Guard Staff

Maggie Meyer is currently a third-year graduate student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. After marching with Legends DBC in 2019, Maggie had the privilege of directing the Central Michigan University Color Guard from 2019 to 2021. While at CMU, Maggie pursued dual degrees in Psychology and Pure Mathematics.

After graduating from CMU, she went on to age out with the Bluecoats in 2021 and started her doctoral program at the University of Michigan. During this time, she taught the Michigan Marching Band Flags for the 2021 season and the Michigan Winter Ensemble for the 2022 season. The following summer, Maggie returned as a technician and choreographer to Legends DBC for their 2022 season. She has also taught the Walled Lake Scholastic Open Color Guard in 2022-23 and Redline Indoor Percussion in 2023. Most recently, Maggie joined the staff at Matrix Performance Ensemble.

Maggie taught Music City in 2023, and she is excited to return again for the 2024 season!
