Matthew Fierro-McCarthy
Visual Staff
Matthew Fierro-McCarthy is a returning staff member to the visual team at Music City Drum Corps. Before joining the Music City staff, Matthew marched at Atlanta CV and Spirit of Atlanta before aging out with Carolina Crown in 2022. During the 2024 season, Matthew had a fantastic experience in his first season on staff and is excited to return in 2025!
Outside of the marching arts, Matthew graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering in May 2024. He is currently in his first year as a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he is pursuing a master’s degree in nuclear engineering. There, Matthew is doing research on radiation damage in structural materials.
