Max Outland

Visual Staff

Max Outland is an emerging music educator from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Currently, he serves as an assistant middle and high school band director in the Brandon Valley School District. Previously, Max attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, earning his B.A. in Music Education in May of 2024. Max was a member of the Phantom Regiment contra line during the 2019 and 2022 seasons, and this will be his third season serving on the MCDC Visual Staff. In his free time, Max enjoys watching his breath freeze during the bitterly cold South Dakota winter, going bald, and spending time with his fiancée and two cats.
