An End of Year Message from our Corps Director

Dear Music City Community,

As the year draws to a close, we reflect on an incredible 2024 season filled with hard work, dedication, and unforgettable moments. Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey. From unforgettable performances on the field to the behind-the-scenes magic that brought our program to life, this year was filled with extraordinary achievements. We welcomed new members into our ever-growing community, and connected with audiences across the nation in ways that will be remembered for years to come. From our talented members and staff to the families, volunteers, supporters, and board of directors who made this year possible — thank you for everything you do to keep Music City thriving.

Celebrating 2024

This season was a testament to what we can achieve together. Our members inspired us daily with their talent, determination, and resilience. Behind the scenes, our design team and instructional staff poured their creativity and expertise into crafting a program that resonated with audiences nationwide. None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of our volunteers and the unwavering support of our families. You are the heart and soul of this organization, and we are deeply grateful for all you’ve contributed.

A Special Thanks to Our Donors

A heartfelt thank-you to our donors, whose generosity makes it possible for us to fulfill our mission of educating and inspiring young performers. This season, your support helped provide scholarships for members in need, ensured the maintenance of our equipment and facilities, and fueled our performing athletes along the way. Thanks to you, we were able to create transformative experiences that our members will carry with them for a lifetime. Your contributions allow us to provide exceptional opportunities to our members, and we are forever grateful for your belief in what we do. Because of you, the future of Music City Drum Corps is brighter than ever.

A Call to Our Alumni

To our alumni, we invite you to remain a vital part of the Music City family. Don’t put Music City on the shelf — your journey with us doesn’t end when you age out. Get involved! Whether it’s volunteering at camps and events, mentoring current members, or helping with outreach, your experience and passion can make a tremendous difference. Stay connected, and let’s continue building on the legacy you helped create.

Looking Ahead to 2025

Excitement for the 2025 season is already building! We’ve seen an incredible 172% increase in year-over-year interest, a testament to the growing impact of our program and the legacy you’ve all helped create. This surge reflects a broader recognition of Music City’s excellence in performance and education, as well as the increased visibility from our outreach initiatives and recruitment efforts. With inquiries pouring in from across the country and outside of the United States, the enthusiasm for our 2025 season shows no signs of slowing down. As auditions kick off, we’re thrilled to welcome new faces and returning veterans who will continue to carry the Music City tradition forward.

A Special Thanks to Our Sponsors

We extend our deepest gratitude to our sponsors for their invaluable partnership and support throughout the 2024 season. Your contributions have been instrumental in helping us achieve our goals and provide a world-class experience for our members. From ensuring we have the best resources and equipment to supporting our travel and outreach efforts, your commitment has been a cornerstone of our success. Thank you for believing in our mission and for being a vital part of the Music City community.

As we celebrate the close of an extraordinary year, let us carry forward the spirit of Music City and be BOLD— Here’s to a year of Belonging, Openness, Learning and Determination. We can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store and look forward to building on the incredible momentum of this season.
