Be BOLD This Giving Tuesday with Music City!
Greetings! It’s hard to believe December is here and with it, Giving Tuesday — a day dedicated to generosity and positive impact. As we embark on this meaningful day, we’re reflecting on what makes Music City and the drum corps experience so powerful: Belonging, Openness, Learning, and Determination — values that guide everything we do. Today, we invite you to join us in advancing these values and giving back in a tangible way.
This Giving Tuesday, Music City is launching our Let’s Go Camping campaign with a bold goal: to fully support the essential needs of our audition and rehearsal camps. These camps, held across five weekends from December to April, welcome approximately 500 youth participants. While we’re not setting up tents, we are creating an inspiring, fun, and supportive environment where young performers can thrive.
Hosting these camps is no small task — it involves providing meals, supplies, and facilities that foster encouragement and energy for every participant. As the costs of operating at a world-class level continue to rise, we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to help make these transformational experiences possible.
How You Can Help This Giving Tuesday
Your contribution can directly impact our participants by covering essential camp needs:
$40 provides plates for all meals at one camp. (A $200 donation covers plates for all five camps.)
$72 fuels two cook truck propane tanks to help feed the corps at one camp. (A $360 donation fuels the entire camp season.)
$50 supplies bread for PB&J sandwiches at one camp. Add $100 to cover peanut butter!
$1,000 will feed the entire group for an entire weekend camp.
